Amazon’s Black Friday 2008
specials are pretty amazing. Amazon Customer’s can also vote for which deals will be offered at ridiculously low prices (you will have to be an Amazon user with a login and password). Users will be notified randomly by email if they can participate in each buying round. You can login and vote here.
The Amazon Calendar has open voting running through the 26th, and the buying rounds starting at 12am on Black Friday, 11/28 through Thursday, 12/4.
They will also be announcing daily Gold Box Deals and Lightening Deals. You’ll also notice that many of the items being offered at conventional retailers (such as Target and others) are already price-matched on Amazon, such as the TomTom ONE 125 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator
for $99. You can view offers at stores at Black Friday Deals, see newspaper ad scans, and search a database at TGIBlackFriday. For some background on Black Friday, see this earlier post.
