Are you familiar with the concepts of Executive Priviledge, especially as it relates to the Unitary Executive Theory?
In short, it dictates a super-strong executive branch, namely the Presidency, and that executive priviledge must not be diminished. First named by Ike, abused by Nixon, employed by Reagan (Iran Contra) and Clinton (attempted w/Monicagate) and perfected by Dubya.

Clinton fired 93 US Attorney’s and no one said a peep!
Bush fires 8 and it’s a National Crisis.
These Attorney’s serve at the pleasure of the President and can be let go anytime for any reason.
There is NO story here, there is NO National Crisis this is a waste of our Taxpayer money to have a needless investigation into this crap.
I think President Bush should replace all the US Attorney’s, they are probably the ones leaking National Security Secrets to the New York Times!!
