I’ve been toying with the idea of dropping the pseudonym and blogging under my real name. The main reason I’d like to do it is that I feel some of my posts on some subjects are very good, and that I would like to be able to take credit for them publicly.
The downside is that occasionally (very occasionally) I’ve blogged something that was NSFW, used some dirty language, was critical of individuals and companies, and strongly advocated my political ideology, all of which may cause someone googling me to have a negative impression. For those of you that have read this blog for awhile (and there are some where between ~20-100 reading by feeds and an additional ~100-300 visiting the blog), do you think the positives outweigh the negatives, or do the risks outweigh the benefits?
