ABC Thinks that Pennsylvania Democrats are Shallow, Bitter, Patriotic, Wealthy, and Republicans.

April 17th, 2008 · No Comments

Wow. Just wow.

That debate last night.

Wow.

As of right now, there are over 12,000 comments lambasting the debate and moderators at ABCNEWS.

First, to get this out of the way, Hillary clearly ‘won’ (please note that I am an Obama supporter) the Philadelphia Democratic debate which took place at the National Constitution Center last night (Wednesday, 4/17/2008) .

How McCain carries Philadelphia and Pennsylvania…

March 17th, 2008 · 1 Comment

I spent yesterday afternoon at a party at a lower Northeast Philadelphia bar for 75th birthday-slash-St. Patrick’s Day. Assembled were various members of my wife’s side of the family.

Once again, I was horrified. As soon as they got comfortable with the homogeneity of the audience, the black, jew, and pollack jokes started flying. I guess the finer moments in the history of the Lucky Irish are lost on them, particularly their legacy as the most persecuted white nationality (Is that correct? Prove me wrong.)

Cindy Lou Who? McCain wife two!

February 21st, 2008 · No Comments

I really don’t care who McCain is or is not schtupping, no matter what the most liberal newspaper says.

I do care when McCain’s campaign staff contains former (and presumed future) lobbyists, at one point more than any other campaign, some of whom are working gratis.  This seems to run counter to the reform and honesty plank of the Straight Talk Express.  One can’t help but think back to his involvement as one of the Keating Five during the Savings and Loan scandal of the early 1990s.   McCain is also no stranger to creative campaign financing - note that in order to secure a loan, he had to pledge to get public financing if his campaign faltered, secured by both his mailing losts and a life insurance policy (he IS in his 70s, after all).

100% of the Inquirer for only -25% Off, Starting Tomorrow…

February 3rd, 2008 · No Comments

The struggling Philadelphia Inquirer, helmed by Neo-Press Lord Brian Tierney is offsetting declining advertising revenue with threats of ‘outsourcing’ and layoffs as well as a price increase of $0.25. a short front page paragraph explains the price changes. Will this be enough to stave the paper’s ongoing decline, despite two instances of flying pigs?

In other news, the Inky’s idea of fair-and-balanced is a front page which gives the media-anointed likely Republican Presidential nominee Senator John McCain two thirds of the photo space related to the story. Senators Clinton and Obama meanwhile must share the balance, with 1/6 of the space for each. I suppose this innoculates them from cries of liberal media.

Before you get all weepy-eyed, and before the "press" heralds him as a divisive but religious force, let's review some of his "highlights" [Positive Atheism via MeFi]:

If you're not a born-again Christian, you're a failure as a human being.

Annotated “Path to 9/11″ Discrepancies

September 12th, 2006 · No Comments

I'm going to recycle something from a couple of posts ago (Path to 9/11 in a Nutshell):

By the time 9/11 happened, Bush had only been in the White House for 8-months.  Clinton, on the otherhand, had been in the White House for 8-years, plus got a blowjob.  Therefore, Clinton is approximately 91% responsible, and poor "W" only 9% responsible.

Difficult, then, given that this WaPo/CNN poll has somewhat of a different reckoning by America's citizens.  In the years since 9/11, the percentage of Americans who blame Bush for 9/11 has gone from 33% to almost half.  Kind of explains the urgency and timing of getting this (Path to 9/11) out there prior to the midterm elections, eh?

Here you will also find the synopsis which ABC released to the press.  Also, examine the shadow world of financiers and partisan pimps who enabled the production of this fiction via Max Blumenthal.

Other measures, as in timelines, from various sources can be found here (from Thinkprogress), as well as 911Timeline, the Cooperative Reasearch Timeline, and the 9/11 Commission Comicbook.

So, shall we begin?
