Found Photographs (and stuff)…[Early Fetish Friday]

One of my peculiar fetishes is with found photographs.   I can’t help but wonder who these people are, where they are now, what happened to them, and what was the story behind the pictures (and how did they come to be discarded, to be found on the street or at flea markets).

Lazyweb: A User-Generated, Opensource, Distributed Graphic Novel.

I firmly believe that we should lay out the Bush Years as a comic book using this or the old fashioned way (or the new Web 2.0 way!). We can have people do it in a distributed manner, upload and categorize them with a timestamp, and then vote on panels. Then the "best" panels can be assembled into a timeline, making it a real, distributed graphic novel published under Creative Commons.

Google SketchUp is Now Free.

Everyone knew it was inevitable…

Now you can create three day "things", share them online, and then add them to Google Earth, adding an additional dimension to online mapping.
