[S]tocks tend to rise on high volume and to decline on low volume [for uncertain reasons]. What may well be in play is that certain earnings announcements simply “grab attention,” with the result that individual investors are motivated to buy in.
The final episode of St. Elsewhere revealed that all of the action of the show took place in the mind of an autistic child [and is disparately linked to many other shows!]
Let me put this another way – Obama’s margin of victory yesterday was higher than the total number of voters in any of the past three Democratic Presidential primaries in Mississippi.
