Akkam’s Razor

There's plenty of Johns and current- and former-escorts who must be somewhat nervous today, given that tomorrow night on ABCNEWS 20/20 DC Madam Deborah Jane Palfrey's list of 15,000 clients (and possibly 132 escorts, some of whom have risen to power and prominence) may be revealed.  This scandal has already claimed Harlan Ullman, co-creator of the phrase "shock-and-awe", and anti-prostitution and anti-condomn conservative Randall Tobias, who claimed he ordered escorts the way one "orders pizza".

That said, here's a list…

…of various people of prominence in government, be they elected officials, staffers, career employees, lobbyists, and media personalities.  Odds are if you were Googling yourself, a client, your nemesis, or just engaging in some wishful thinking, I have some bad news for you.  Your IP address, domain name, timestamp, referrer, and search keywords have all been recorded.  It's called a honeypot.  Good luck - hopefully you won't be in the news.

UPDATE:  What a disappointment - the two names that ABCNEWS named were known in excess of a week.  Plus, how is it that during the hype-period the White House and Pentagon were involved, and now there was no one of interest on the list.  The "good news" is that the list is being given to people who specialize in investigating prior administrations.  And we know what that means - always blame Clinton.
