Sometimes I have great ideas - shame I don't know how to do anything about them…
WP-Boilerplate: A plugin that allows you to insert boilerplate into your posts - such as "NSFW" or "full-disclosure" notices. There should also be an admin page where you can add, edit, and delete your boilerplate and designate a typed shortcut for the text to display in your post, page, or theme. You can also tie the text to specific categories or select it inside the post menu via radio button and pulldown menu.
WP-.htaccess: A plugin that gives you ready access to .htaccess from the Wordpress admin panel, and also gives you wizards to add, edit, and delete items, and archives your previous edits so you can restore them.
WP-Robots.txt: A plugin that gives you ready access to robots.txt from the Wordpress admin panel, and also gives you wizards to add, edit, and delete spiders and robots, and archives your previous files so you can restore them. It also scans your install directory and allows you to select the directories to close to robots.
WP-Xpost: A plugin that allows you to crosspost your content to any other blogging platform that uses XML-RPC and where you have an account. The crosspost feature is selected via a menu in the post screen with checkboxes. There is also an admin panel where you can add, edit, and delete cross-postable sites and create a custom crossposted message, as in "Crossposted at Site#1, Site#2, and Site#3".
WP-Zipbag: A plugin that scans your install directory, allows you to select items to backup, such as just settings, files needed for an upgrade, just images, themes, or plugins, or the entire install, and then creates a single *.zip of all the files, to store on your sever, email, or download.
