Please go away.  Sooner than later…

Besides being cousins with George W. Bush, both former Bonesman, both Yale Grads, both C-class students, and both career politicians, it looks like what the recently departed (former Governor of Texas) Ann Richards of Texas had to say about Dubya's daddy could also be applied to you (link with audio from the 1988 Democratic Convention):

Poor George. He can’t help it. He was born with a silver foot in his mouth. 

This horrible, horrible gaffe, in the week before an election YOU'RE NOT RUNNING IN endangering Democratic prospects, and taking a poorly timed and framed potshot at a lame-duck president is hardly the making of a future Presidential candidate or party nominee.

"You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq," Kerry said.

This was no more than Kerry trying to raise his profile (for the inevitable 2008 Presidential Nomination), with the end reult of endangering this election, and giving both him and John McCain a chance to stroke their humongous egos, and give a chance for Bush to look "pretty smart" and presidential.
