Three Curt Weldon items for the day…

First, from the Philly Inquirer - Weldon supports looser restriction on the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.  Meaning that it would be easier for people to illegally purchase firearms and then launder them on the street.

Secondly, the ladies at Firedoglake ask if Curt Weldon dodged the draft.  Weldon acts as though he wishes he was an armed services veteran, lamenting that he wanted to serve, but alas, during Vietnam, his eyesight was too poor.  Which, of course, is different than what he has said in the past.  Plus, based on his date of birth, and position in the draft lottery, he most definitely would have been picked.  Weldon's campaign flack have not returned any phonecalls.

Lastly, to the handfull of stalwart GOP supporters in my township - the election is what, slightly less than two months away?  Those "Independent Fighter for US" signs are up a tad bit early for local and state ordinances aren't they.  By the way, any reason why Weldon (and Swann, for that matter) are running away from the Republican tag?
