Annotated “Path to 9/11″ Discrepancies

September 12th, 2006 · No Comments

I'm going to recycle something from a couple of posts ago (Path to 9/11 in a Nutshell):

By the time 9/11 happened, Bush had only been in the White House for 8-months.  Clinton, on the otherhand, had been in the White House for 8-years, plus got a blowjob.  Therefore, Clinton is approximately 91% responsible, and poor "W" only 9% responsible.

Difficult, then, given that this WaPo/CNN poll has somewhat of a different reckoning by America's citizens.  In the years since 9/11, the percentage of Americans who blame Bush for 9/11 has gone from 33% to almost half.  Kind of explains the urgency and timing of getting this (Path to 9/11) out there prior to the midterm elections, eh?

Here you will also find the synopsis which ABC released to the press.  Also, examine the shadow world of financiers and partisan pimps who enabled the production of this fiction via Max Blumenthal.

Other measures, as in timelines, from various sources can be found here (from Thinkprogress), as well as 911Timeline, the Cooperative Reasearch Timeline, and the 9/11 Commission Comicbook.

So, shall we begin?

The first clip to think to share is the openning montage, as well as the disclaimer, reproduced below.

With the video clip embedded here from YouTube.

Lets start at the beginning, since that's where the discrepancies start.  The openning scene, where Mohammed Atta gets on a American Airlines jet despite showing up on the CAPPS system, is entirely fiction.  As such, the airline is none too pleased, with legal action likely to follow.  Alas, I cannot locate a suitable clip, but the story is here.

This section is in-progress…
