to the soundoff section why is it that i dont see the standings for delco youth football this year. these kids start working out in july when its really hot.show them they are still part off delco sports .joe of clifton hgts coachs corner

Joe, thanks for the comment. As a lifelong Philly resident, only recently (6-years or so) having moved to Delco, I miss the Inquirer/Daily News, plus all the local weeklies (Port Richmond Star, Guide, or News Gleaner). The DelcoTimes is somewhat lacking for the community stuff and anything resembling REAL news (like investigative).
Some of those things that slip under the radar of the regional papers, and definitely escape TV and radio are still newsworthy. I’d suggest posting items like that either on a team website or blog, or better yet join an existing web community.
One that I think is OUTSTANDING is PhillyFuture, and they are in need of some Delaware County voices.
