Akkam’s Razor

…and I say Moonbat as a sign of solidarity and not derision. 

(For the uninitiated, the left call the right "wingnuts", the right calls the left "moonbats".  It’s just how it is.)

Everyone’s yammering and whispering "impeachment" of Dubya’s lastest Executive overeach, into the phone lines and maybe internets of American citizens on fishing expeditions to protect us from "terra".

I know it’s been a long time since Clinton’s impeachment proceedings, but there’s some prerequisites.

See, the House of Representatives "prosecutes", the Senate is the "jury", and the judge is the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

The Republicans have the majority in both houses of Congress, and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court is John Roberts, who’s a Bush-boy from wayback.

Long story short?  Bush could push old ladies in front of buses and Cheney could bite the heads off baby kittens on the floor of the Senate and not one of the Republicans would object.  Impeachment is not going to happen.

So instead of sending me emails (Howard Dean, John Kerry, I’m looking at you), how about getting your acts together and stop thinking like the "minority party" and start acting as the "opposition party".  And "opposition" means against policies, not people.
