2. Wikipedia: Wikipedia is an open source collaborative encyclopedia. As a type of site, "Wiki", which means "quick" in Hawaiian, lets anyone create, edit, or add to a topic, which is both a positive and negative aspect.
Two good illustrations of Wikipedias in action would be the front page and also the development of a single page of Wikipedia during a high intensity event.
The front page of Wikipedia always includes links to current events and historically significant topics that occurred on that day.
On the day of the terrorist attacks of 7/7, there was a lot of news flying around, some accurate, some not…this page has a movie showing the development of the page throughout part of the day as individuals added information.
3. Concept Maps: Concept Maps give you a way to graphically illustrate an entire concept in an intuitive and brief manner. The below linked page goes to
