Micahel Totten of Donklephant bemoans the criticism that they have gotten over their centrist approach.

Here’s some advice - how about knocking off the partisan blather of defend/attack of your respective stant and state your positions on issues as centrists. The reason that we have the two party mix we have right now is that the moderates on both parties can excite their respective bases and spend too much ducking criticism or placating the extremists in their parties. And that extends past the gang of 14.

Issues gentleman, issues. Not people.
