I foresee this feature promptly hacked out or Longhorn will end up being the new Windows ME (the worst operating system ever, for those that don’t know). Basically software in the OS will require a DRM compatible monitor - if you don’t have one, all visual output will be bluried. And like I mentioned previously, I also predict that old school hardware (like TV-PC cards, MP3 devices, and DVD-R/RW that are pre-DRM will fetch premium dollars.
