This is probably going to sound like a Maddox post (or a Sienfeld bit), but this is a trend that has gone from invisible to obnoxious to “jumping the shark”.
It all started with Lance Armstrong’s yellow “Live Strong” bracelets. But now that he’s beaten testicular cancer, and he has Sheryl Crow to massage his nuts, he doesn’t seem to mind the plentiful imitations that are out there. Every color of the rainbow is correlated to some cause or other.
But I guess there should be some others that haven’t been thought of yet:
Black and Blue: Child Abuse, Wife Beaters, etc.
Clear, Red, and Brown: Support Senator Santorum
Yellow: Chickenhawks - Support the War
Popularity: 6% [?]
