Akkam’s Razor

Bloggers everywhere have been complaining about the fits and spurts that the service has been having as of late. I’m just as guilty, although I have a moral dilemna getting that upset about a free service.

I guess the biggest problem right now is knowing that in my geek heart-of-hearts, I want Google to win the Google v. Yahoo fight. Yahoo 360 will be great for turnkey bloggers, but not for me. But knowing the Yahoo bought Flickr, and seeing what Yahoo is capable of doing longterm, I’m wondering if maybe Google might have missed the boat by not investing more in Blogger. All things considered, I would have expected Google to have been the ones to have invested in Flickr. Hopefully they’ll have plans to do something innovative with their upcomming video service as well as some more useful group image sharing service with Picasa2 and Hello.
