Akkam’s Razor

After initially claiming a mandate, Bush has been all over the place with what direction he wants to take us in. Will it be saving the babies? Keeping the gays from wedded bliss? Todays bold new direction is the end of the tax system as we know it and the adoption of either/both a National Sales Tax or a Flat Tax for both individuals and corporations.

Just a few problems with all of this. This is grand talk and all, but I highly doubt that any of this could be completed in anything like the near term, AND THERE’S A FREAKING WAR GOING ON!!!

Methinks this is Karl Rove’s way of floating trial balloons…
