Akkam’s Razor

One of the longstanding polling conventions is that at the conclusion of the election, undecided will have broken 2:1 for the challenger. Also, incumbents typically get either less or no more than 1 to 2 points above their final poll results. Conversely, challengers average a 4-point gain compared to their final polling performance.
