Akkam’s Razor

I am hoping that Bush’s share of the popular and electoral vote have reached their apogee. I you notice, at the high point, he quickly begins a swift descent, often below his starting point. Why is that? Is it because a timeline punctuated by upticks coinciding with machinations orchestrated by Karl Rove and company don’t have the staying power that Bush would like? Based on the numbers, Rove and co. must be hoping that there guy and hang on to the above-half share of the electoral college to keep his seat. Barring any breakthrough in Iraq, the eruption of any additional scandals, or a homeland terror travesty, Newton will trump Dubya.
